So I decided to do the most grown up thing of my life and decided to go out and buy a house. I started last October and got the house last Thursday. 4 months and 2 realtors later it's done, kind of. The house was built in 1944, (I realized the other day that it was built during WWII) but is in surprisingly good shape. It has its quirks but it has a lot of potential. It still smells like old people inspite of my continual burning of scented candles. I'm going to see if Costco sells industrial size Febreeze. These picture are what the house was like when I bought it but it will be pretty different in the next few weeks if everything goes well. If I remember I'll post some new pictures of that.

Yay Jon! That has potential to be darling... except was that carpet in the bathroom? I'll help you get rid of that.
