First of all, who makes up the verification words for leaving comments? If you don't know what I'm talking about click on the comments button below this. Write something and below it there are some funky looking letters and it says "Word Verification". I've always wondered who comes up with the verification words. Most recently I've seen.
poorn
conissec
flugmell
uniestic
unmanow
tortaing
thers
Since this blog is through Google I thought they'd know what these words mean. I googled them. No result. My conclusion is that there is some lowly intern at Google who has the job of making up random verification words in between getting cups of coffee. I believe that he takes regular words, squints and writes down what he thinks he sees. Here are the real words.
poorn = porn
conissec = con issac
flugmell - slug smell
uniestic = unenthusiastic
unmanow = unibrow
tortaing = tortise crossing
thers = theirs
2nd, its doppelganger week on facebook. No, its not a Nazi bomb. You change your profile picture to someone famous who looks like you. Lucky for me that someone said I look like Paul Newman so it gave me the chance to look like this for a week. I don't smoke though.

My friend Nate is opposed to this. I think it's because after I watched Up! for the first time the other week I said he looks like Russell for no reason other than the fact that he's half Japanese and half American. He was so adimnate that they don't look like each other that he his Facebook status said "opposed to popular belief I am not the little boy on 'Up!'". Lucky for me I know his password and subsequently changed his name to Russell and his profile picture to this. You're welcome Russell, you got doppelganged a week early.
