Christmas thoughts
Christmas is back again. For some reason it hasn't seemed like Christmas to me this year. I guess the thing that has seemed the best part of the year is seeing how people are stepping up and helping others. This might seem kind of cheesy but the shows like Extreme Home Makeover seem to bring in the Christmas spirit. There's nothing better than seeing someones face light up when they receive something they need whether it be a house, present or just someone letting them know that they are special. Seeing people become happy is the best feeling ever. Hopefully everyone has a very happy Christmas and can find a way to make someones day just a little bit better.

6" of fresh and counting
Tonight was definitely a good night for a big snow storm. I've skied with friends 2 days this week which I hardly ever do, and it's been fun, but it's time to have a day where I go where I want when I want. There's about 6 inches of snow outside, all in the last 8 hours so I can only imagine what the resorts are like. It'll be another morning of waiting for the canyon to be blasted but it'll definitely be worth it.

It's the best feeling to know that I don't have any homework to do for the next 3 weeks. Just work and ski. So this weekend I went to a party with where I saw some old friends that I haven't seen for a long time. It's been at least a few months since I've even seen, let alone hung out with them Its funny how they act like nothing's changed or like you've been hanging out with them everyweekend. Funny stuff.

New Skis+Fresh Pow+New Band+A on a final= Good Day
So I had planned on studying all weekend and not skiing at all until finals were over, and then I walked outside last night and there was 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground. I knew I wasn't going to get much studying done so I figured I might as well relax and ski. So I did and it was awesome!!! First of all, for having been open for 1 week, Alta's had 2 awesome days and I was there for today. Second, I got to try my new skis which rock. Best 100$ spent so far this year (but hopefully not the last). Thirdly, there were some parts where the snow was so deep I couldn't breath, literally. How great is that? I love being short on days like today, like my brothers license plate thingy says, "Short People Ski Deeper Pow". So true.
And then tonight when I was just checking some bands that I had been wanting to listen to I found a song I've been trying to find for 2 months but I didn't know the name or artist. Now I bought the album.

The Beginning
So I guess I like life because it's always changing, sometimes because of where you are, what you're doing, who you're with or just the music you're listening to. Sometimes it changes really fast, faster than we want or expect and sometimes not fast enough. I'm a big believer in doing what makes you happy and doing it for yourself. I have what I guess I'd call an ideal image of what I want to be but the only way I can become that is if I do what I want how I want to.
So lately I've been looking to see where I could move but still finish school and have fun (cause I could finish school almost anywhere but I couldn't live in alot of places cause they're too boring - like Peoria IL). The idea behind this is that if you keep doing the same thing, you're going to keep getting the same result. And the result lately is that I've been very bored in Utah. Colorado was an option but really expensive, Reno maybe because Tahoe is close and its the biggest little city in the world (last time I was there I thought that I got tobacco spit dumped on me but it was only Coke) and then I thought about Alaska but I'm having trouble finding schools up there and doubt it would work this close to the next semester. So I've decided that since I only have 3 semesters left at the U I'll finish school here and then probably take off up north somewhere. But of course life always changes.
